On 2nd May 2014, FACE gained registered charity status – meaning we’ve just approached our ninth year in action!
What better way is there to mark the occasion, than launching a shiny new website? We are really grateful to Ginormous Websites for their hard work on this project with us – look no further if you need a new website of your own!
Although we’re almost approaching double figures (and cannot wait to celebrate our tenth birthday in style next year), FACE has been around for much longer, starting its life as an organisation over seventy years ago. In our Filton building, FACE was once known as Filton Youth Club, providing activities for predominantly young people over several decades. Our staff, trustee and volunteer team now makes up a whopping [how many?] people, meaning we’ve grown a lot since gaining registered charity status. We think that definitely calls for a slice of cake…!
