FACE is a charity with youth and community at the centre of its work. While FACE is recognised as a leading provider of youth work in South Gloucestershire, we work with people of all ages with a variety of needs in Bristol and South Gloucestershire. Our activities create community participation, increase skills and opportunities, and promote wellbeing. We help to break down barriers between individuals and groups from different backgrounds, enabling people to come together and collaborate.
Our provision as a whole is vast. We work with people from different age groups and socioeconomic backgrounds, and support neurodiverse young people and those with disabilities. We approach every single project with the same ethos of community cohesion, and are actively growing our inclusivity as an organisation.
FACE runs regular projects during term-time, plus additional provisions during school holidays.
We facilitate a variety of activities, including sports, the arts, outdoor sessions, education, health & wellbeing, and more.
In FACE’s youth work projects, we offer opportunities for personal and educational growth, through award and accreditation pathways.
FACE works in partnership with mainstream and special schools, sharing knowledge of effective engagement with young people to support their education.
For those with additional needs, we aim to provide a safe space for community and self-expression, through regular groups, day trips and family support during school term breaks.
